Simple protection assessments may finish in one detailed meeting. Retirement income planning usually runs across several weeks to allow provider paperwork to arrive.
Engagement model
From first call to written recommendations
Financial advice here is delivered as scoped consulting engagements, not as an open-ended product shelf. This page shows the rhythm clients can expect.
- Suitability and fee outline. A short call confirms whether your question fits our authorisation and which advice area applies. You receive a written fee before any fact-find.
- Document meeting. We gather pension statements, protection schedules, and cash-flow notes. Couples usually attend together when recommendations will affect joint income.
- Analysis away from the table. Projections, charge comparisons, and risk discussions are prepared between meetings so presentation time stays focused on decisions.
- Recommendation meeting. You receive a written plan or letter. We walk through inclusions, exclusions, and next actions with providers.
- Implementation support. Where agreed in the fee, we help complete paperwork with existing schemes or new arrangements you choose to accept.
Meeting places
Most clients meet at our Thompsonham office on Princess Street. Video meetings are available across Northern Ireland and the rest of GB when travel is impractical. We do not offer walk-in advice without an appointment.

A follow-up call within thirty days is included in the flagship retirement review. Further annual reviews are optional and quoted separately.
